Description: Commonly known as the Blackbutt, a native growing tree that is located in South-eastern Australia. It has a rough bark half way up to the top then has a white smooth bark for the rest of the way. The leaves a re glossy dark green and the white flowers occur from September to March. It is a koala food tree also, Economically, it is one of Australia’s most important hardwoods.
