Description: A small tree with small dark green pointy leaves with attractive red new growth. The main flower appears during spring to early summer, with a greenish to creamy white flower. It usually grows in sandy soil or on sandstone rocks but can also grow along watercourses so can tolerate regular water. This plant is a valuable river stabiliser as it lies down in a flood and is widely used as a screen and windbreak.
